HTML5’s autocomplete attribute gives us more control over the browser’s behavior with form inputs. Some browsers automatically prefill forms while others do not. The autocomplete attribute takes away the guessing and allows us to give the user a more consistent and secure experience. A practical example of using the autocomplete attribute effictively would be preventing the browser from remembering someones account number. In that case, the input would look something like this.

Now when user logs in to there account the input will not remember their previous entry. Vwala!
